Gala results 2024

A GREAT finish to the month for St Helens Swimming Club as they travelled along the East Lancashire Road to Salford over the weekend.

Oliver Crosby led the way with a silver medal in the 50m Backstroke, one of three Personal Bests, and a bronze in the 200m Backstroke.

There was a silver for Izzy Wainwright in the 200m Breaststroke.

Emilia Chahal set three PB’s, the highlight being when claiming a bronze in the 50m Breaststroke.

Sofia Bagdonavicius hit some massive Personal Bests as did Henry Harrison, Jake Chahal and Harry Glover whilst Freya Green showed how much she has progressed in the first two months of the season.

Tough competition this weekend but the smiles and pbs keep coming.  Fantastic swimming by all

A day where everyone has pb’d with some massive times taken off too. Special mention to Rose who swam in her first gala today and managed to bag herself a gold medal.

Superb swimming this weekend by all our swimmers. Pbs smashed, regional times and next years county times hit and the biggest team weve had in ages so proud of you all!
